Yogesh Rana Magar is an optimistic environmentalist with M.Sc. from Central Department of Environmental Science, Tribhuvan University. He has long years of working experience in UNICEF and many partner NGOs of UNICEF in the development sector especially in WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene), Disaster Management and Environmental Conservation. He is confident to reconcile environment friendly programs and climate change adaptation in cross cutting issues.
He is proficient in Program Management (planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation), Knowledge Management, Data Management and Analysis, Capacity Building, Documentation and Reporting. He was grantee of ‘Ecosystem based Adaptation’ project, Strengthening Regional Cooperation for Wildlife Protection in Asia’ project of National Trust for Nature Conservation in 2015, and also ‘Pralad Yonzan Wildlife Research Grant 2015′. His research interest is in disaster management, biodiversity conservation, and climate change.
