Prience Shrestha has over half a decade of experience working at the intersection of development, economics, and environmental governance. He currently serves as a research associate at the Institute of Socioeconomic Research and Development (ISRD) to explore how effective landscape and ecosystem governance can solve the socioeconomic challenges of the rural hinterlands of Nepal, witnessing multidimensional poverty and climate risks. Prience has already published several research reports on regulatory improvement, private sector development, and natural resource governance for institutions and national dailies. Before his engagement at ISRD, Prience successfully worked as a researcher at the Samriddhi Foundation and Global Institute for Interdisciplinary Studies (GIIS).
Prience holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Franklin University, Ohio USA, and Master of Science in Project Management from Curtin University of Technology, WA Australia.
